What should you do with your result?
Your placement result is a guide, not an exam score. As a rough starting point:
Pre‑A1 to B1
Build grammar, healthcare vocabulary and sentence control first. The recorded Basic English Course is designed for learners at Beginner, A1, A2 or B1 level before intensive OET work.

OET benchmarks Grade B (350) to CEFR C1, so most B2 learners need structured practice to close the gap. Start profession-specific OET preparation and get regular feedback on Writing and Speaking, where most candidates lose marks.

Is this an official OET or IELTS test?
No. It is a free General English placement test from OET with Dr Hesham. It gives an indicative CEFR estimate for each skill to guide your preparation; it does not replace an official OET, IELTS, PTE or TOEFL result.
Which level should I reach before starting OET preparation?
As a rough guide, if your estimate is B1 or below in most skills, build your general English first; if you are around B2 or above, move straight into profession-specific OET preparation.
